The only thing I was fit for

The only thing I was fit for was to be a writer, and this notion rested solely on my suspicion that I would never be fit for real work, and that writing didn’t require any.

  1. Hi Kunal,

Many thanks for the message on the blog - and welcome to T2D! Hope you become a regular visitor there.

*smile* The title of the blog actually came up a few years ago. Me and a friend were talking about creating an antertainment website for my local area (Bristol, UK) and, as we were both film lovers, wanted to pick a name that’d be relevant to the area and to our love of film. That’s the one that came up (both of us loved the original film the title was based on). Unfortunately the site never materialised but, when I came to writing the blog, it seemed appropriate to use it!

Not seen much on here about the other issue you mentioned on your comment, so won’t explicitly mention it here myself in case its something you don’t share on your blog. But you have my every sympathy, my friend. Can recommend a number of books that may allow you to get a better understanding of it if you’d like, and possibly some slef-help too - drop me a mail or msg on the blog if interested.

Anyway, that’s my lot for now. Love the site btw.

    All the best
    Matty
