Of Optimism

He felt the world tumbling around
A winged dream jaunted by
And slowly whispered in his ear
I know you worry, but why?
Too often it is that worlds fall down
But at least you have got me
We’ll build another in times to come
August against the sea
He opened his eyes slowly then
And found the world intact
He thanked one dream for waking him up
Then piles of dreams he stacked
