Hindi Poem: Tum the ruke hue
tum the ruke hue to chuppi thi
hum chalte to gufta-gu hoti
tumse thi kuch bhi naa thi
humse hoti to yun hoti
chali jo tumse thi sard hawa
humse hoti to loo hoti
tumhe hi badi-o-khushi ka ilm
humse hoti bas boo hoti
tere lavvz-tu-dono-jahan
hoti itni to rehmat hoti
dariya ko jaun ke mile surkhab
simte-e-dariya gar mili hoti
inteqaal-e-hasrat kab ka ho chuka ab
hoti haasil to hasrat-e-haasil hoti
