Burning Bright…

Posted in Neha Jhingon, Poems by Neha

He looked at me,
in our intimate moment
Smiled
And showed me his skin
At the places where it was burnt.

He asked me to pass
Through him,
Like water
on his burnt flesh.
I cried.

To see him in pain
Was unbearable.
he wanted me to pass.
To soothe his
Scalded flesh.

I smiled then.
And I burnt him.
