I went to Arkham today
Saw an old man, he my father’s age
He couldn’t stop smiling
He gulped his pills and I saw his littered hand
The girl
Was talking to herself
Hyper ventilation
Biting her nails
The brain moves too fast
Stop its circle before it kills you
Or makes you completely insane
My mother is crying
But I cant stop smiling
It feels like home
And I cant stop smiling

Ouch! alright… Reminds me of the time when i smiled at my grandfather’s funeral. I think my emotions have been screwed since the day he died. Excellent poem!
