When the last dog cried.
–Look there are three dogs there, I said, one of them will cry.
–Stop saying foolish things, she said, tell me what happened with Naina.
–Well she came to my place and we talked, I replied as one of the dog ran and went out of my sight.
–Don’t look at the dogs, look at me and tell me what else happened with her.
–Well we talked and we talked, I said defensively.
–And.
It was getting too much, I thought lets tell her the truth and see what happens–I had sex with her, I said.
–Never talk to me again, she shouted and started walking away from me.
–Wait listen to me, I said walking after her.
–No, she said.
Another dog ran and went out of my sight. Last dog was my only hope.
–I was just kidding goddammit, I lied when the last dog cried.

I like the sound of the text, its rhytm takes you suspensively into the atmosphere.
The tenseness of the relation is conveyed by the allitterated t-sounds…it feels closer to poetry than prose

Why, ever the same theme, the same same old theme.
The past mirrors the future, and it ever will, unless you break off the chain and free out.
I hardly talk to one person in a day, and I know I’m consuming my time the best way. no ASSumptions!

i think the story flows with suspense. Could the dogs be symbolizism for hope? When the last dog cries it represents the loss of hope?

Excellent.
Only a few words into the above story, I could tell that you combine a tight lyrical quality with shot of surreality. I am at work now but will check out more later.
It made me think of “The Master and Margarita”–have you ever read it by chance?

Ya I have Master and Magarita, but haven’t read it yet. Now that you’ve mentioned it, I guess I’ll read it next
