The Unfaithful
Those lonely days,
Those lonely nights,
That weeping face ,
Those crying eyes,
What she said I’ll never forget,
Those words felt like,
Swords in my chest.
How she went away that night I’ll never forget,
In that shining moonlight,
Late at nite I wake up and cry,
It feels like acid in my eye.
My weeping soul, can’t go to sleep,
The pain she gave my heart,
I’ll always keep.
Feeling her love in my blood,
Never had I felt this weak.
Rushing through my veins it kept,
Spreading like a damned disease.
I have a place in my heart,
That has someones name engraved on it,
The harder I try to scrape it off,
The deeper the name seems to set.
Cut my wrists to see how it felt,
Without her love that my blood had held,
Every drop seemed the last,
Just wanting it to finish fast.
But when I realized,
all the love had left,
I realized I was already dead,
Then I conceived, what I thought was wrong,
Without her love i couldn’t go on.

It is a very melancholic poem and seems to be written by a benevolent person who has just pen down his feelings and the usage of some slang words(eg, “dammed”)has a broader appeal…though a peom should be written in proper and correct english
