There’s one sad truth
There’s one sad truth in life I’ve found
While journeying east and west -
The only folks we really wound
Are those we love the best.
We flatter those we scarcely know,
We please the fleeting guest,
And deal full many a thoughtless blow
To those who love us best.
-Ella Wheeler Wilcox

lonely stranger says:
people come and peopel go
once they showed interest
now they dont
why waste your time on ones who have forgotten you
to love and care for the ones who return your love is the only thing you should do
i leave my words not for you to understand
but to leave my introspect and somehow make stand
this life is getting hard every passing day
give strength and gritt change things is all i say
now that no one listening to me
i wanna talk, i wanna sing and i wanna be free
just like i always look for a chance
when no one’s watching, i like to dance
some time i feel something is killing me
but its nothing i can hear, nothing i can see
falling down with your inncocent eyes fixed on me
is my honor, my pride and all that i can be
it doesnt rain when i’m shedding tears
it didnt pain when you were here
i could be right to be so cold
coz i’ve seen the way you hold
all that you have, all that you want
it was never me or even a passing thought
